Flying In

For those outside of San Diego, we recommend flying into the San Diego Airport, or Tijuana airport.

Note

Driving to Valle de Guadalupe

For those in Southern California, we recommend driving to Valle de Guadalupe. It is about a 2 hour drive from San Diego and about a 4 hour drive from Los Angeles. The drive is really easy, you only spend about 1 hour driving in Mexico in total. If you prefer not to drive yourself, there are shuttle services you can pay to take you from San Diego to Valle and back. We can also help organize carpools as we get closer to the wedding date.

If you would like help organizing carpools please text Natalie (858)602-8863 or Nick (858)692-4150.

Driving is the best option because there are no Ubers or taxis in the Valle.

Read the google doc below for detailed information and tips on driving to Valle:

Note

Getting Around in Valle

There are no Ubers or taxis in Valle. So we highly recommend having a car while you're there. You won't need a car for the wedding or welcome party. But if you plan to go off hotel property to eat (aside from the events), you will need a car to do so.

FAQ

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

What should I wear?

Formal Attire - Men should wear suits, women can be in long or mid length dresses. Feel free to wear florals, bright colors, etc!

What will the weather be like?

It will be warm (usually around 85) until the sun goes down, then it gets a little chilly, but hopefully won't be cold.

We recommend bringing a jacket just in case, and checking the weather beforehand. To check the weather on your phone look up Francisco Zarco, Baja California

Where should I park?

If you choose to drive, parking is available at the venue. However, we highly recommend using the provided shuttles to and from our selected hotels.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors so please check the weather in advance and make sure you bring layers in case it gets chillier at night.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, our photographers will be taking tons of pictures that we would love to share with you all afterward. At the reception feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Can I use the provided shuttles if I stay at an Airbnb or a different hotel?

We will only be providing shuttles from the Andana Hotel and the Maglén Hotel. The shuttles will not be able to do any pickup/dropoff to other hotels or Airbnbs. However, as long as you are at one of those hotels when the shuttles arrive, you are free to use them!

Please let Natalie know in advance if you're staying at a different hotel but using the shuttles so we can have a proper headcount.

Will shuttles be provided from San Diego to Mexico?

Shuttles from San Diego to Mexico will not be provided. But, we are happy to help you find a group to carpool with!

Please reach out to Natalie (858) 602-8863 or Nick (858) 692-4150 for help finding a carpool group.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at any wedding events we host on Friday and Sunday!

How long should I plan on staying in Valle?

We will be hosting an optional Welcome Party on Friday, and will be lounging at the Andana pool on Sunday. We recommend arriving Friday the 18th and leaving Monday the 21st if you would like to attend all the wedding events, but it's completely up to you!

For those who would like to leave on Sunday after the wedding, we highly recommend leaving early to avoid border traffic as much as possible.
